Storytelling

We are providing compelling content of Indigenous Peoples’ and their stories of creation, cultures, histories, spirituality, and existential threats they face, as well as the solutions their way of life provides to our planetary crises.

We recently embarked on an extraordinary journey to Papua New Guinea to visit the Korowai people. The Korowai are a remote tribe living in the dense rainforests of Papua New Guinea, and are known for their unique way of life and incredible treehouse architecture.

Our team of experienced explorers and researchers travelled to the heart of the Korowai's homeland to learn more about their culture, customs, and way of life. This expedition was an unforgettable experience for our team, as we immersed ourselves in a world vastly different from our own.

During our time with the Korowai people, the Tintra Foundation documented their daily lives, including the Korowai people’s hunting and gathering practices, their traditional ceremonies, and their fascinating treehouse architecture.

“We are committed to fostering a deep and meaningful relationship with the Korowai people, built on mutual respect and understanding.”

Our team was led by experienced guides who have worked extensively with the Korowai people, ensuring respect and mindfulness were upheld towards their customs and traditions. We are committed to fostering a deep and meaningful relationship with the Korowai people, built on mutual respect and understanding.

We are incredibly excited to share more details about this exhibition in the coming months from Tintra Productions, including information on how you can support our mission. Stay tuned for updates on our website and social media channels, and join us on this incredible journey of discovery and compassion.

We will support Indigenous Communities to undertake activities to address the risks to their culture, knowledge and language, and other threats encroaching on their way of life.
